The Health Insurance Marketplace is designed to make buying health coverage easier and more affordable. The Marketplace allows individuals to compare health plans, get answers to questions, find out if they are eligible for tax credits for private insurance or health programs like the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and enroll in a health plan that meets their needs.

Even in you have health insurance coverage, we still may be able to help. If you have coinsurance, deductibles and co-pays, you may also be eligible for Financial Assistance for the balances billed to you by Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Wentworth Health Partners. Ask us for more information!

During the open enrollment period from November 1 to December 15, certified application counselors will be available both at the hospital and at the financial assistance office to help answer your questions, access information online and enroll in insurance plans.
