Jeffrey M. Segil, MD

About Dr. Segil: 

Dr. Jeffrey Segil specializes in advanced incontinence and prolapse treatments and surgeries, robotic-assisted surgical procedures and pelvic reconstruction. In addition, he has extensive experience in Bioidentical Hormonal Replacement therapies for menopausal women.
 
Dr. Segil completed his postgraduate training at University Hospitals of Cleveland, where he was executive chief resident, after graduating from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, also in Cleveland.
 
Prior to medical school, Dr. Segil spent four years at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, in molecular biology research in the field of tumor immunology. He completed his undergraduate degree at Hampshire College in Amherst, Mass., where he concentrated in healthcare delivery systems.
 
Dr. Segil is board-certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He has completed a Master’s in Healthcare Administration, and achieved a fellowship in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and has completed advanced training through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. He is fully credentialed with the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine (AIUM).
 
He is a member of the New Hampshire Medical Society, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine.
 
Dr. Segil has been very involved with Operation Medical, a group of surgical specialists who bring surgical care as volunteers to underserved regions of the world. To date, his mission trips have included performing surgeries in Haiti, India, Nepal, and Rwanda. Operation Medical is an organization of volunteers made up of trained medical professionals and other individuals committed to promoting and providing high quality medical care and surgical services, as well as education, to communities that don’t have adequate access to medical care.
 
Dr. Segil lives in Dover with his wife and loves that all three of his children are within a short drive from Dover, allowing for lots of family time, sailing, skiing, and cooking together.
